When you use Dugout League, we collect the following information:
Information you give us directly:
- Your email address and name (when you sign up)
- Your team names, compete name, and profile preferences
- Your draft picks, captain selections, and trade decisions
- Messages and reactions within your arenas
Information we collect automatically:
- Device information (browser type, operating system)
- IP address and general location (country/city level)
- How you use the app (pages visited, features used)
- Crash reports and error logs (to fix bugs)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the service: Run your fantasy leagues, calculate scores, process trades
- Communicate with you: Send draft reminders, match notifications, and important updates
- Improve the app: Understand how people use Dugout League so we can make it better
- Prevent abuse: Keep the platform safe and fair for everyone

We do NOT: Sell your data to advertisers, share your draft strategy with opponents, or use your information for anything creepy. Your data stays between us.

Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

Children's Privacy
Dugout League is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
Continued use of Dugout League after changes means you accept the updated policy.

- You're responsible for your account security
- We can update or modify the service (we'll try to give notice)
- Don't use the app for anything illegal
- We're not liable if your captain gets a duck
- Indian law governs these terms
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Dugout League ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
Eligibility
To use Dugout League, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
If you're between 13-18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You may not:
- Share your account with others
- Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
- Use another person's account without permission
Pro tip: Don't share your password with your arena mates, even if they promise not to sabotage your draft picks. Especially if they promise that.
Acceptable Use
When using Dugout League, you agree NOT to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools (bots)
- Attempt to access other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (team names, reactions, messages). However, by using the Service, you grant us a license to display this content to other users as necessary to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Intellectual Property
Dugout League and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
Note: Player names, team logos, and cricket statistics are properties of their respective owners. We use them under fair use for fantasy sports purposes.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Scores and statistics will be 100% accurate at all times
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dugout League and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any errors or omissions in the Service
- Loss of data or fantasy points
- Actions of other users
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, since the app is free, is ₹0).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Harass other users
- Attempt to manipulate or cheat the system
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dugout League regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent.
